Under the gracious patronage of His Highness, The Heir Apparent, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Qatar Career Fair 2011 will be held from 10 to 14 April 2011 at the Doha Exhibition Centre under the slogan "Write the Next Chapter in Qatar’s Success ".

This economic, cultural and social event is the culmination of great efforts by the organizers, Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, Qatar Petroleum, Amiri Diwan, Qatar University, and The Ministry of Labour. It will offer Qatari students education, recruitment, training opportunities & development in order to enhance their abilities and strengthen their skills enabling them to meet the challenges in national development.
Through effective participation in this fair, public and private institutions can provide the largest number of jobs to Qatari citizens, provide the right employment opportunities and meet the objectives of the Qatarization policy. This is done by selecting students that meet the criteria defined by companies and sponsoring their higher education depending on the needs of their jobs.

The event, now in its fourth year, which has garnered unprecedented interest from visitors, can fulfill the employment needs of University students across various disciplines. The number of visitors to the fair this year is expected to reach 20,000-30,000 and 130 public and private sector companies will participate in the Fair. The venue is divided into "Villages" on basis of various sectors, namely: Energy & Industry, Communication, Tourism, Insurance, Education, Media and Sports). This year, the fair takes on special significance, as it aligns itself with the objectives of Qatar Vision 2030 launched by His Highness, The Heir Apparent, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani on October 28, 2008.
